WTF America part 2

Just when I thought I had seen and heard it all, I came across this clip…

It was bad enough for Trump to mock a disabled reporter.  It was even worse when Trump belittled Sen. John McCain, a decorated Vietnam veteran and the family of Capt. Humayun Khan, an Iraq War vet, who was killed in action.  I thought the bottom had been scraped when Spokesperson Katrina Pierson blamed Obama for invading Afghanistan.

However, we have reached an all new low when Mr. 9/11 himself acts as though the 9/11 attacks never took place.  I’m lost for words to the point where I’d be open to believing that the Trump campaign is a false flag operation to ensure Hillary Clinton wins the election.

Lord have mercy on us all….

  1. It’s not just the statements by the people in the campaign. It is also the willingness by the base to accept anything at all at face value. There are no filters, no skepticism, no balance with prior knowledge or momentary critical thinking. Simply ‘I hear, I believe.” That’s what I find even scarier.

  2. Thinking has been on the wrong track in Western civilization, all the way down to the most fundamental level, since Immanuel Kant gained dominance in Western philosophy. Hundreds of years of misdirected thinking produce various bad and strange results. In addition, Kant achieved his purpose of giving the altruist morality a new lease on life, and this also gave a new lease on life to the fruits of the altruist morality, such as collectivism and statism. Statism has destructive economic effects which anger and confuse people, compounding the problem. The Trump phenomenon is a particularly blatant example.

Fortunately, Ayn Rand has given us the better ideas which are the cure. I hope the cure takes effect in time to save this civilization, so humanity won’t have to wait for another one.

  3. I am truly stumped by all this. The GOP is really that stupid? Nah, really? Unbelievable. Hillary is fortunate her opponent is Trump or more than a few of us might be less inclined to vote for her. I probably would just because the GOP makes me ill with its hypocrisy. They have truly jumped the shark as you put it. We aren’t completely screwed under Hillary, but is this the best we could do? Seriously?
