Have a safe weekend

Whatever your plans are for the weekend, enjoy yourself and be safe.  Otherwise, you’re likely to end up on a YouTube video with Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” playing in the background.

  1. The way things have progressed the last few years, I wouldn’t get out of the electric chair to get in a boat on the lake.

    • I had a friend at work show this to me, and I couldn’t get it out of my head. I feel bad for laughing at them, but it seems like they were all ok afterwards. Had I been in that boat, I’d still be laughing about it today.

          • Hey, can I ask you a stupid question. How do you upload posts to display YouTube videos like the one you did for the speed boat fail? I’m totally clueless

          • It’s not a stupid question at all.

On the top of the control panel when you’re writing a new post, there’s a button that says “add media” or something similar. Click on that, and you have several choices.

You can use the URL and copy the Web address for the video in that option. I think it’s the next to the last choice. There’s also an option to add video directly from YouTube. If you know the title of the video, you can search for it and you’ll get all the videos related to the search. Just check the video you want to add, and WordPress will automatically format it for you.

YouTube and Vimeo are automatically formatted. There’s a way to add other sites, but I haven’t figured that out yet.
